Will Boast is the author of a story collection, Power Ballads (University of Iowa Short Fiction Award), a memoir, Epilogue (Liveright/Norton), and a novel, Daphne (Liveright/Norton). His short fiction, reporting, criticism, and essays have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The New Republic, The Guardian, and the Virginia Quarterly Review, among other publications. He’s held fellowships from Stanford University, the American Academy in Rome, the University of East Anglia, Yaddo, and MacDowell. His second story collection, The Submerged, won the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction and was recently published by the University of Georgia Press.
