Molly Sturdevant’s prose and poetry has appeared in Orion Magazine, The Dark Mountain Project, Crab Creek Review, Another Chicago Magazine, Poetry Northwest and other places. Her writing has been nominated for Best of the Nets, Pushcarts, the Montana Prize in Fiction and Chicago’s Mary Blinn Prize in Poetry. Her debut novel The Sleepers, (Regal House Publishing) tells the story of a 19th century labor strike in Leadville, Colorado, and was researched in the Western Federation of Miners union archives. She moved to Chicago from Colorado in 2001, and at the moment, lives in Oak Park.
