Kelly Barnhill, The Girl Who Drank the Moon in conversation with Laura Ruby

Kelly Barnhill lives in Minnesota. She is the author of four novels, most recently The Girl Who Drank the Moon, winner of the 2017 Newbery Medal. She is also the winner of the World Fantasy Award, the Parents’ Choice Gold Award, and the Texas Library Association Bluebonnet Award.
Laura Ruby is the author of the middle-grade YORK trilogy and the YA novel BONE GAP, which was a National Book Award finalist and winner of the Printz medal. She is on the faculty of Hamline University’s Masters in Writing for Children and Young Adults Program.
