Ignatius Valentine Aloysius earned his MFA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University where he teaches. He is the author of the novel Fishhead. Republic of Want (Tortoise Books); Salt Pruning, a collaborative collection (Hummingbird Poetry Press); Everything I Touch Is—& Isn’t—You, a second collaboration (Roadside Press); and the forthcoming collection, Bone Dust Mother (Glass Lyre Press). Ignatius is co-editor of The Overturning Anthology (Erratics Press) and host of Sunday Salon Chicago. He serves as Chair of the Curatorial Council at Ragdale, where he’s also a Board of Trustees member. Ignatius is streaming songs worldwide as an indie artist called HAPTICWOUND.
