Ed Roberson is the author of numerous poetry collections, including the forthcoming book Red Silk Woven Carpet, The President’s Wife, and the Generals of Autumn (selva oscura press, 2026). His many honors include the Jackson Poetry Prize, the Shelley Memorial Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Chicago Literary Hall of Fame’s Fuller Award for Lifetime Achievement. Currently a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets, he has taught at Northwestern University, Columbia College Chicago, and the University of Chicago. Roberson lives in Bronzeville.
