Dan Dougherty is an award-winning writer and illustrator of comics and children’s books, best known for his long-running comic strip Beardo, the children’s books A Thousand No’s and Do You Speak Fish, and the adult picture book Shut Up And Feel. He has frequently collaborated with DJ Corchin having made over a dozen books together as well as the popular and fun drawing show Call Itta Draw. He is a lifelong Chicagoan and teaches art at Saint Xavier University.
