Colin Asher, Never A Lovely So Real and Mary Ann Cain, South Side Venus in conversation with Rick Kogan

Colin Asher is an award-winning writer whose work has been featured in the Believer, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Boston Globe, and the San Francisco Chronicle. An instructor at CUNY, he was a 2015/2016 Fellow at the Leon Levy Center for Biography.

Mary Ann Cain is the author of South Side Venus: The Legacy of Margaret Burroughs. She is currently a professor of English at Purdue University Fort Wayne where she teaches fiction, creative nonfiction, rhetoric, and women’s studies.
