Bonnie Jo Campbell is the author of the National Bestselling novels The Waters (the Today Show Jenna Book Club pick for January 2024) and Once Upon a River (both from W.W. Norton). Campbell’s critically-acclaimed short fiction collection American Salvage was a finalist for the National Book Award and the National Book Critic’s Circle Award. Her other works include Mothers, Tell Your Daughters, Women & Other Animals, and Q Road, and she has earned The Grace Paley Award, the Eudora Welty Prize, and the Mark Twain Award, and a Pushcart Prize. She is a 2012 Guggenheim Fellow. She lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
