Stephanie Douglass is a host of The Moth in Chicago, a Moth GrandSLAM Champion, cofounder of the New York Theatre Company the TEAM, and was the head writer for OLN’s “Outside Magazine’s Ultimate Top Ten.” She has served as a non-profit leader focusing on redirecting resources to historically disenfranchised communities for over a decade.
While serving as the Farm Enterprise Director for Growing Home, Stephanie pioneered the first single-farm CSA completely grown and distributed within the city of Chicago.
She is the co-founder of Cyahafi (Cha-HA-fi) Blooms, a resource training collective in southwestern Uganda, and wrote a series of humorous large-scale organic farming training videos for the Organic Agronomy Training Service.
Stephanie also hosts and produces Story Club North Side, and co-produces the Englewood Storytelling Open Mic at Kusanya Cafe. Her original solo show, “LIVE! NUDE! COMPLICATED! GRIEF!” won the award for Best Solo Performer at the National Women’s Theatre Festival, in Raleigh, NC.
