A native of Woodstock, Illinois, Richard Babcock has enjoyed a long career as a novelist and magazine editor, including 20 years as the editor of Chicago Magazine. His 2012 novel, Are You Happy Now? was a finalist in fiction with the Society of Midland Authors. His latest novel, published in July, is A Small Disturbance on the Far Horizon.
