Karen Jessica Dorado is a first-generation Mexican American from Chicago’s Gage Park, she proudly embraces her cultural heritage as a cornerstone of her identity. Currently studying at the University of Illinois at Chicago, she is pursuing a BFA in Acting, with an anticipated graduation in 2027. Karen is deeply committed to refining her acting skills and is passionate about portraying diverse narratives, especially amplifying the voices of Latinos in the media. Her goal is to explore multifaceted characters and stories that mirror her rich cultural background and personal experiences.
