David Faris is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Roosevelt University, a contributing writer at Slate, The Week and Newsweek and the author of It’s Time to Fight Dirty: How Democrats Can Build a Lasting Majority in American Politics and The Kids Are All Left: How Young Voters Will Unite America. His work has also appeared in The Washington Post, The New Republic, Washington Monthly, Salon, The Forum and more. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two children.
