Yosha Gunasekera is an attorney at the Innocence Project, representing people who have spent decades behind bars for crimes they did not commit. She teaches a course on wrongful conviction and exoneration at Princeton University and is a former Manhattan public defender who has spoken extensively on the criminal legal system. Her debut novel, The Midnight Taxi, was named one of The New York Times’ best mysteries of the month, and she was recognized as a Publishers Weekly Writer to Watch. The Midnight Taxi has been featured in CBS New York, People, Marie Claire, Criminal Element, and more.
