Sandra Santiago is a second-generation Puerto Rican poet, educator, and activist from Chicago. She earned a B.A. in Education from Roosevelt University and an M.Ed. in Bilingual Education and Linguistics from DePaul University. In 2013, she founded The Butterfly Poetry Project to create a safe, affirming space for women poets. She is the author of The Rhythm of Everyday Things (2014), published by Pandora Lobo Estepario Productions. Her work also appears in Shades of Faith (2012), Shades of Ritual (2014), North American Folk Magic (2023), and Aquarius Witch (2024). She was a guest columnist for The Wild Hunt in 2020.
