Darling is a musician and multi-hyphenated, deeply melanated artist inspired by collaborations and the experiences of self interdependent those before and around them. Born and raised in the Chicago Baptist church, their artistic journey is rooted in the freedom, channeling the essence of performance art through the senses with a distinct interest in femininity as it interacts with masculinity which ignited a passion that transcended the challenges of their home life. Through incorporating the joy and pain of their experiences and underlining themes that carry a message of alienation Darling’s artistic expression is a visceral exploration of the human condition
