Cianna is an award-winning producer, reporter and host. Cianna came to WBEZ in 2021, having worked at National Public Radio affiliates WYPR and WEAA at Morgan State University.

She brings more than fifteen years of experience in producing talk shows, news and podcasts. Her work has also been featured in the Chicago Sun-Times and the BBC World Service. Cianna frequently reports on art, culture and food with a focus on trends and culture across the African diaspora.

She is a lifelong Liverpool F.C. supporter, traveler and gourmand.
