Marcia Clark

Marcia Clark is a practicing criminal lawyer, former prosecutor, and author of four bestselling legal thrillers, as well as a #1 New York Times bestseller about the O.J. Simpson trial, Without a Doubt. Her new crime fiction series featuring defense attorney Samantha Brinkman launches with Blood Defense in May 2016.


David Heinzmann (Interviewer)

David Heinzmann is a Chicago Tribune reporter who covered the police beat for many years and now works on the paper’s political investigations team. He is the author of two Chicago-themed mystery novels, “A Word to the Wise” and “Throwaway Girl”.


Michael Harvey

Michael Harvey’s seven novels include The Chicago Way, The Governor’s Wife and this summer's release, Brighton. He’s also a journalist and documentary producer whose work has won multiple news Emmys, two Primetime Emmy nominations, and an Academy Award nomination. Raised in Boston, he now resides in Chicago.


David Swinson

David Swinson is a retired Washington DC police detective. Before joining the DC police Swinson was a record store owner, a punk rock/alternative concert promoter, and a music video producer and independent filmmaker. THE SECOND GIRL is his latest novel.
